Urban schools that have been historically marginalized, with limited access to high-quality teaching and learning. These include schools in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

To transform public schools to create a more just, equitable, and humane society. We believe this work is an enduring feature of our democracy and occurs within and across multiple communities — of teachers, students, parents, community members, elected officials, researchers, and others engaged in democratic life.
