The UCLA Mathematics Institute for Young Scholars is a four-week summer-day program for secondary students interested in mathematics.

The institute focuses on mathematics outside the typical school curriculum and consists of course lectures taught by UCLA faculty, course problem solving sessions led by UCLA graduate students, and plenary seminars on a variety of topics.
