CBAM is a multidisciplinary center that seeks to advance the prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses, especially in communities with health disparities.

We conduct research on medical, behavioral, and combination approaches to the prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses — with a particular focus on addiction and HIV.

People suffering from addiction and people who are living with or at high risk for HIV.

Mission and Goals

We envision a society where every person is able to access the highest quality, evidence-based services to reduce substance use, HIV risk, and other behaviors which impair health.
