Founded in 2020, the Center for Immigration Law and Policy (CILP) at UCLA School of Law is at the cutting edge of immigration scholarship and practice - developing bold legal, policy, and narrative change strategies that advance the way we think about immigration law and policy in the U.S. and beyond.
We work with faculty, students, and community groups on immigration law and policy initiatives. Our program generally does not provide direct legal services.
Who We Serve

Mission and Goals
CILP generates innovative ideas at the intersection of immigration scholarship and practice; serves as a hub for transforming those ideas into meaningful changes in immigration policy at the local, state, and national level; and empowers students with unique opportunities for experiential learning.
