The Center X Community Learning Hub builds on the 30-year history, impact, commitment and partnerships of UCLA Center X. This dynamic learning center will bring together UCLA students and faculty in the Teacher Education Program, Principal Leadership Institute and the Educational Leadership Program; alumni; PK-16 school partners; and community members to provide accessible sites of learning and collaboration for educators in Los Angeles urban core and across the city.

Professional development initiatives for school administrators and teachers, as well as two graduate credential programs.

Mission and Goals

Prepare and support K-12 teachers and administrators committed to social justice, instructional excellence, and the integration of research and practice in low-income urban schools. We aim to transform public schooling to create a more just, equitable, and humane society.
