The UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is a research partnership of four institutions that work together to uncover solutions for the health problems that are most prevalent in LA County. In partnership with the community, we have made important advances against the leading causes of preventable disability and death.
Services Provided
CTSI is a resource to scientific investigators. By providing educational programs and grant resources, CTSI will equip the research field with scientists who are prepared to conduct comprehensive research.
Who We Serve
In addition to supporting the research, CTSI formed several partnerships with local schools, programs, health clinics, and resource centers.
Mission and Goals
Our mission is to bring biomedical innovations to bear on the greatest health needs of Los Angeles County, which, with nearly 10 million people, is more populous than 42 states.
