The Institute and its 27 centers and programs offer multidisciplinary degree programs, support research, and promote local and global engagement with pressing world issues. Its Vice Provost is the campus’ senior international officer.

To educate students, support scholarship on the world and serve as a campus and community resource on diverse world regions and pressing global issues. The Institute supports UCLA as a global leader in international education, research and outreach. Its educational programs and public events foster global citizens capable of solving global challenges.
