Services Provided

VAPAE equips UCLA undergraduate students with the tools to cultivate civic and community engagement through high quality arts education, building bridges between UCLA Teaching Artists and the surrounding Los Angeles community. Annually, VAPAE offers an exciting public event series that explores a variety of topics and strategies to promote arts equity and high quality arts education initiatives. These events will bring together community members as well as local, state, and national leaders to further these conversations. All events are free and open to the public

Mission and Goals

The mission of VAPAE is to expose UCLA undergraduates to the theories and practices of arts education. VAPAE provides UCLA students experiential opportunities to bring culturally equitable and inclusive arts education into schools and communities throughout Los Angeles. VAPAE builds and shares knowledge to highlight the importance of arts education in a diverse society.
