Mission and Goals

UCLA graduate students propose solutions to address health equity issues that community-based organizations (CBOs) can implement within their practices. Each year, up to 15 applications are selected for the competition. The Independent Review Committee will select up to four final proposals, and four associated CBOs will receive funding of up to $50,000 for implementation. The competition aims to address the significant inequities highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic in various aspects of health.
