UCLASP establishes partnerships with school districts supporting equitable K-12 science instruction that builds a deep conceptual understanding of phenomena.

Supporting science instruction through professional development. We offer workshops that highlight establishing an equitable science classroom community, pedagogy and sensemaking through the Next Generation Science Standards.
Who We Serve
We serve teachers, administrators, district leaders, and students in over 20 different districts across Los Angeles and Orange County.
Mission and Goals
We work to build teacher capacity within schools and districts in order to sustain equitable science experiences for all students. We aim to deepen teachers' content and pedagogical knowledge to meet the needs of the community they serve.
