Transfer students are hired to phone community college students with demonstrated potential for success in the UC system and to visit specific community colleges to meet prospective transfer students.

The goal of the program is to motivate, inform and prepare students to transfer from a California community college to selective Top Tier Research institutions such as UCLA.
