Delivers trainings to the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LADMH) workforce; provides consultation that addresses system needs and barriers to change; develops best practice models and facilitates learning communities.

Who We Serve

The workforce of LA County DMH programs serving individuals with severe mental illness experiencing or at risk for homelessness, including but not limited to Homeless Outreach & Mobile Engagement (HOME) and Full Service Partnerships (FSP).

Mission and Goals

In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, the Public Mental Health Partnership at UCLA aims to realize a vision for excellence in care for vulnerable populations that incorporates typically marginalized perspectives and builds capacity to foster health equity.

This training strengthened my counseling skills and gave me the necessary tools to build a good rapport with my clients.

Acquired very important information about the methods necessary/essential in serving clients. It will definitely help me perform my job better and gave me new insights about what is expected from me.
