A scientific collaboration between UCLA and JPL to develop projections about global climate change and its effect on regional climate and environment.
Multi-disciplinary research focused on Earth systems in the Southern California region, including studies of the atmosphere, coastal ocean, and land surface.
Who We Serve
Brings together the research, education and training resources of two of Southern California’s premiere research and technology organizations to advance knowledge and monitor global warming and climate change in the state.
Mission and Goals
To promote, stimulate, and engage UCLA and JPL scientists/engineers in cutting edge Earth system science research to enhance understanding of climate and environmental changes, support future space missions, explore new technologies and applications for monitoring and projecting climate and environmental changes, and enhance the educational mission of UCLA.
